FAQs

  • The coding curriculum is broken down into three main areas: 1. Web Foundations (Responsive CSS, Data Types, Looping, etc.); 2. Front-End Development (AJAX, React, Intro to APIs, etc.); and 3. Back-End & Fullstack Development (Node, Express, SQL, etc.). Grads of the UT Dallas Coding Bootcamp learn the skills they need to be qualified for entry-level roles like Junior Software Engineer and Front-End Developer.

  • Our students have been able to successfully balance work, family, and other life commitments while pursuing a bootcamp. We offer full-time and part-time schedules for our programs, so students can select a schedule that best fits with their lifestyle. Our rigorous full-time bootcamp is held Monday thru Friday. Full-time students spend about 15 hrs/wk in classes. Part-time courses are 3 days per week—nights and one weekend day—and students can expect to spend 10 hrs/wk in class. Both full-time and part-time students should plan for an additional 15 hrs/wk of independent coursework.

  • Yes, the UT Dallas Coding Bootcamp is beginner-friendly. It’s specifically designed for professionals who have no previous experience in coding.
