How the UT Dallas Data Analytics Bootcamp Works
The UT Dallas Data Analytics Bootcamp is designed for students to pursue high-quality tech education while continuing to balance work or other commitments. Our program provides you with the flexibility to fit career development into your life.
All bootcamp classes are instructor-led and taught 100% online.
Part-time and full-time bootcamp programs are available.
All classes are held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
You can choose which class time works best for you in the application process.

In addition to classroom lessons, part-time students can anticipate spending 6-8 hours studying and working on outside assignments each week.

The data analytics curriculum is broken down into four main areas: 1. Excel; 2. Presentations; 3. SQL; and 4. Python. From there, students work on learning the skills they need to pass two industry certifications (Tableau Desktop Specialist and AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty) and finish the program with a culminating project. Grads of the UT Dallas Data Analytics Bootcamp learn the skills they need to be qualified for entry-level roles like Data Analyst and Insights Analyst.

Yes, the UT Dallas Data Analytics Bootcamp is beginner-friendly. It’s specifically designed for professionals who have no previous experience in data analytics. While some background knowledge is helpful, the only expectation is that students have general computer literacy skills in basics like efficiently using the internet/cloud and Windows.
